Zillur Rahman John is an international Artist, Director, Teacher, Researcher and Author of mime books.

John particitpated 34 international theatre and mime festivals around the world. He directed solo, duet, trio, group and mimodrama productions in many countries and conducted innumerable international workshops on mime and pantomime art.

He has written books on this art form and also contributed more than 200 articles on arts and culture published in the Encyclopedia of Bangladesh.

Zillur Rahman John has been honoured by the Canadian City Edmonton and has recieved the award "The City of Edmonton Cultural Diversity in the Arts Award 2008".
